Some of us can’t even see Jesus anymore outside our favorite policies, causes, or comfort zones. We’ve reshaped Him into the mascot of our camp… and lost sight of the real King.

This book might be a prophetic wake-up call for some and a holy reckoning for others.

It exposes the versions of Jesus we’ve built in our own image.

(ie: the enforcer, the activist, the polite mascot)—and leads us back to the One who calls out sin, sits with sinners, and sets captives free.

This is my heart cry:

That we lay down our tribal versions of Jesus…

and return to:

Faith 101

– Jesus is King because He conquered death, not because He won a campaign.

– His Kingdom advances through serving, not activism.

– His Gospel is good news because sin is deadly news.
